Welcome to the inaugural installment of my culinary blog The Croissant Wrench.
The idea here is to give you fellow shop rats a way to prep good food in advance that doesn’t take a culinary degree to do and that does not require a bunch, time, and or utensils to eat
We would all from time to time like to have something good to eat while working in our garage or shops without having to stop what we are doing, clean up, de-grease, de-dust, or de-anything else just to get a good quick bite.
The intention here is to present a fun way to 1). Prepare food to be eaten in the shop context. 2). Learn some basic cooking principles 3). Eat while working. 4) Be relatively healthy.
I am new at this so hopefully what is lacking at the start will eventually turn into something great down the road. In each recipe I will provide a materials list (ingredients) and a tool list (required utensils) and an estimated time frame for completion.
In addition to some easy recipes and methods I will include some shop organization ideas and perhaps down the road will undertake a project that we can interact on together. I’m seeing this blog as possibly bi-weekly to start with then we will see what happens from there. Perhaps a monthly grilling recipe or two will be added as well.
Stay tuned in a few days I will post the first recipe and we will go from there.
